School of Health Care

The School of Health Care at NEU – National Educational University was established for the implementation of the Bachelor's Program in Nursing. The aim of the school is to create a high-standard educational environment through the development of modern academic programs and scientific activities. Students of the Nursing Bachelor's Program are provided with a solid foundation in basic, clinical, and social sciences, ensuring the development of strong practical and clinical components. The school equips its students with knowledge and skills based on patient needs, public health, and the well-being of society.

Mission of the School of Health Care

The mission of the School of Health Care is to foster a multicultural and democratic environment through the formation of individuals with a strong sense of civic responsibility. The school is committed to creating an educational space that promotes societal well-being and sustainable development. It focuses on lifelong learning, internationalization, scientific research, innovative approaches, evidence-based practice, and the development of professional competencies. The school supports digital innovation and the integration of technologies in health care education to prepare students for modern global challenges.

Laboratories within the Program

Clinical Skills Simulation Center

The Clinical Skills Simulation Center is designed to develop the professional competencies and clinical/practical skills of students enrolled in the Bachelor’s Program in Nursing. The center includes four fully equipped training rooms, featuring state-of-the-art simulators and mannequins. The rooms are organized and equipped in a way that allows for the full implementation of Objectively Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs).

The simulation center is utilized at the foundational stage of education, enabling students to acquire essential clinical skills and perform procedures even during the preclinical phase. This hands-on learning environment helps prepare students for real clinical settings through safe and realistic practice.

The center is equipped with modern educational models, including: CPR manikin (family model) and AED training module, Choking manikin Surgical suturing and trauma simulators, Multifunctional care mannequins – male and female, Pediatric simulation model, Blood pressure measurement simulator, Tracheostomy simulator, Gynecological simulator, Urinary bladder catheterization model, And other advanced training tools and technologies.

The center provides a safe and realistic learning environment where students acquire skills in:

Nursing procedures and manipulations;

Patient care and communication techniques;

Clinical decision-making;

Emergency response principles.

The training process is led by experienced clinical instructors and academic mentors who provide individual feedback and support the development of students' professional skills.

Medical Laboratory for Biochemistry and Microbiology

This laboratory is equipped with modern medical and laboratory equipment, including laboratory tables, a fume hood, a refrigerator, a sink, a centrifuge, test tubes, pipettes, and other essential instruments. This environment ensures the development of professional nursing skills, the ability to independently and safely perform laboratory work, and adherence to safety standards. The laboratory meets international standards of modern medical education and provides a safe and effective environment for practical learning.

Medical Laboratory for Histology and Pathology

The laboratory is equipped with modern microscopes and normal and pathological slides, which ensure the development of nursing professional skills and adherence to safety standards. It facilitates effective practical training in histology and pathology within a safe and modern educational setting.

Medical Laboratory for Anatomy

The anatomy laboratory is equipped with modern educational tools, including anatomical mannequins, allowing students to:

Practically study the structures of human anatomy;

Understand the clinical significance of various organs and systems;

Acquire practical skills essential for the nursing profession.

This laboratory ensures a rich, interactive, and modern educational experience in anatomy for students.
