Training

On September 29, 2025, NEU School of Health Sciences staff participated in an exclusive masterclass hosted by McGraw Hill Professional.

The seminar was presented by Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine authors Dr. Joseph Loscalzo and Dr. Carol Langford. The training focused on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical education and clinical decision-making.

The main aspects of the seminar were:

The possibilities of using AI for the development of teaching methodologies and curricula;

Strategies for using AI in clinical decision-making;

Methods for increasing student engagement and supporting active learning.

The program implementers plan to integrate this knowledge into undergraduate nursing education in the following areas

Use of AI-supported interactive learning tools;

Implementation of data-driven approaches to identify individual student needs and adapt learning;

Strengthening simulations and clinical practice through AI;

Strengthening critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.

Creating a modern learning environment for students and integrating the latest technologies into the learning process reflects the university's commitment to complying with international standards of medical education and maximizing the development of practical skills for students.
